Pearl Yewell and Trish Harding use their many years of experience painting *en plein air to create work that depicts the essence of living in Bellingham. Audio recordings of local sounds and local iconic images help inspire paintings that lead the viewer to a fuller sensory experience, much as a plein air painter experiences the process.
*en plein air; “an-ple-ner”, French term meaning ‘in the open air’.
