Hello Everyone!

I am now accepting registration for Open Studio Wednesdays and Open Studio Thursdays for the Month of March.  These Open Studio all day painting classes fill up FAST so registere today.  Also, I have a Pastel Class coming up at Whatcom Community College on Thursday evenings startings beginning on February 28th, 6:30-9PM.  We will be working on Wallis Paper, using a variety of grounds.  This is a great class if you want something new and different in pastels.  Sign up today at by calling WCC at 360-647-3277!

Blue Horse Gallery is pleased to announce the Debut of Trish Harding and invites you to attend an Artist Opening Reception on Friday March 7, 7-10PM and an Artist Closing Reception during the Downtown Gallery Walk on Friday March 28, 2008, 7-10PM. 

During the Gallery’s regular business hours throughout the month you can view all new paintings by Trish Harding; oil paintings that capture the Liquid Light of the Northwest, whether it is the glistening oyster-white skies ricocheting off the water or Prussian blue, lightening-loaded thunderheads crawling up the side of the Cascades.

She paints local icons such as Douglas fir trees, the San Juan Islands, logged off foothills, and downtown scenes and images, including industrial landscapes to name a few, using vibrant color and strong value contrast.  Much of her work is done en plein air (out in the open air).
