OIL PAINTING CLASS, Trish Harding Instructor

• We will explore “oil paint” and how it works, mixing, compliments, using whites, set up, and equipment.  We will be doing exercises and create a painting.  This class is perfect for beginners as well as an extension of last month’s oil painting class.
• Suggested Supplies list:  oil paints, cad red, alizarin crimson, ultramarine blue, phthalo blue, cad yellow, yellow ochre, titanium white, zinc white, phthalo green, sap green.  Brushes: flat 14, filbert 8 (approx).  Solvent:   Oderless Mineral Spirits & container, paper towels, palette.  Thinner:  Galkyd Gel.  Canvas:  stretched approx. 12”x14”.  Gessoed paper or board.  Please have this ready for class so we can get right to the exercises.

Two 4-hr. sessions, Friday 1/9, 1/16, 11am-3pm, $90

I miss Ryan and I love Tom, Molly Mae and Jennifer.  That sums it up for today.  I am going to Studio UFO to spend the day painting with some of the best people in this world!  How lucky I am.  Thank you, dear friends for what you did for me at the studio while I was holding Ryan’s spirit close after his fall.  Words are inadequate to convey the true depth of how I feel about you all.  I can only try to show you with my dedication.
