We want at least 100 artists on the streets of Bellingham this year!!!  Be a part of history being made.

Tom and I are leaving this morning for the Columbia Gorge just 30minutes East of Portland, Ore.  We will be staying at McMenamins at Edgefield (www.mcmenamins.com) which is just 5 minutes from Menucha where I teach for Creative Arts Community each August.  Check out the photo looking East from Menucha.  For more information about that go to www.creativeartscommunity.org.

I will be taking my paints and Tom his guitar.  We will be scoping out the territory for a workshop painting trip later in the year.  Watch for that trip on this site, however, from all the information that I have it might already be full!

McMenamins is an old “poor house” remodelled into a hotel, hostel, spa, winery, distillery, restaurants, golf course, etc…The artwork in the building and on the grounds is amazing!  And it is everywhere!  All the walls and doors and room interiors are painted by McMenamin’s artists and we will be spending many hours studying and appreciating the art during our painting trip.  We will also be painting en plein air!!!

• Site:  Woodstock Farm… We meet at UFO and carpool from there at precisely 9:30.  Do not drive to Woodstock without checking with Trish.
• One 5-hour session, Monday June 1, 10am-3pm, $45
